Two members of our Club have been working behind the scenes to complete another successful East York Kiwanis Project.
Our President’s cottage neighbour loves to grow vegetables. He tends to produce more than he needs. Last week he gave David several zucchinis which Pat delivered to the Thorncliffe Food Bank. The zucchinis were greatly appreciated.
What is Kiwanis?
Here is a fun video about Kiwanis and the community service we provide!

Welcome to Kiwanis Club of East York!
We are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
Our Club is excited to be able to support 10 new mothers at Rosalie Hall on this Mother’s Day. Through the combined efforts of our President and club members, we were able to donate many greatly needed items. We would also like to thank Staples and everyone who donated to make this a success.
Each mom received a backpack containing medical masks and other useful items. There was also a big box of diapers and baby wipes for the new little ones. We were able to provide each lady with a $50.00 gift card to Shoppers’ Drug Mart for personnel items. We even sent our best wishes for a “Happy Mother’s Day” along with some Lindt chocolates.

In addition, we are contributing to a turkey dinner for the staff at True Davidson Long Term Care Home. Please donate to support our projects and bring some Christmas cheer to those in need.

The Key Clubs at these schools are among the most popular clubs at their schools and help the members of the Key Clubs gain hundreds (100’s) of service hour (not 10’s).
